Stages on my path to become a Heilpraktikerin for TCM (my CV in short form you can find here: Revital Justo Harry)

I was born in Israel in 1971.

In 1994 at the age of 23 i met a powerful concept and technique which introduced me to the holistic way. Perceiving the connection between body and mind and the effect they have on our physical health was a revelation for me.

I learnt how we can, with knowledge and awareness take responsibility and create our lives in a way how we want to see it.

I then became a therapist in that method. I gave workshops and lectures to big groups of people and also treated people individually. We had experience with thousands of people in Israel, adults and kids, treating with great success a large variety of pathologies.

I could clearly perceive what Heiner Fruehauf meant when he said „all disease come from the heart“.

The heart in Chinese medicine is the seat of the mind/spirit/soul (Shen).

Thus, when coming to treat a sick body, one has to take into consideration the state of mind and soul of the person who carries this body around.

After a few years I felt that more practice is necessary to deepen my understanding and realisation of this knowledge.

I then travelled to ASIA. It was in the year 2000.

2000

India

In India first I met Tibetan Buddhism practice which made a lot of sense to me in the light of my past therapeutic experience. I then left behind “normal” life for some time and went into a deeper and more committed practice.

2001-2003

South Korea

I then travelled to South Korea to practice Zen Buddhism. I stayed 3 years in a monastery and practiced Zen. That meant intensive practice periods in which we sit Zen meditation for about 12 hours a day, practice Zen Koans and few more techniques that help to quiet the mind and experience more easily a clear mind state. I found these techniques highly efficient in resolving certain mind issues and having a clearer insight into life.

I also was lucky to meet my great teacher there Do Kwan Sunim who taught me with endless patience what great compassion is and what correct life direction is. I will be forever grateful to him.

2003

Return to Israel

I came back to Israel 2003 trying to find the way to bring what I have learnt into action and combine it with my therapist skills. Having a lot of good experience with Chinese medicine in my years in Korea and being enchanted from its depth I decided that this is what I need to do.

2004-2008
